Chris Damolaris began his career in the beauty industry at the age of 23. While attending beauty school, he got his start at Brian Michael Salons, gaining valuable hands-on experience by sweeping floors, shampooing clients, and assisting senior stylists. After graduating, he spent a year and a half mentoring under master stylist Brian Michael McGrath, eventually earning his own chair.
In 1993, just three years into his career, Chris purchased the Brian Michael Company---then a single salon in Wheaton, IL with 25 employees. By 2002, he had expanded the business with two additional salons in Naperville, growing the team to over 100 employees.
In 2005, Chris was approached by Frank Gironda with the opportunity to acquire three Frank Gironda Salon and Spa locations. He emerged his existing team into the Gironda brand, strengthening its presence in the western suburbs. In 2017, he added a fourth location in Glen Ellyn.
Today, Chris is the owner of Frank Gironda Salon & Spas, one of the largest and most respected salons in the Chicago area. With 110 employees and a reputation for excellence in client service and professional development, Chris has been a driving force in the beauty industry for over 35 years.
